Edgewater

Welcome to Edgewater

Luxury waterfront condo living in a rapidly growing area

Edgewater is a sleepy residential district known for its impeccable high-rise luxury condos lining the shore of Biscayne Bay. Quickly becoming one of the most desirable areas to live in Miami Beach, the neighborhood has gone through a massive transformation in recent years.

Most of the older homes in Edgewater have been replaced with brand-new luxury towers, offering some of the best views in Miami. Residents now enjoy resort-style amenities, some featuring rooftop pools and boat-docking options.

The once-quiet town has seen the birth of new public green spaces, renovated bayfront parks, improved facilities, and exciting new stores and restaurants. Conveniently located slightly north of Downtown and just over the Venetian Causeway from Miami Beach, the growing neighborhood has easy access to all the city has to offer.

Local Lifestyle

Edgewater offers the perfect central location for getting anywhere you want to go in the city. The City of Miami Trolley provides free transportation to Downtown areas, and the beaches are just a short bike ride over the Causeway. While the trendy area is quiet, some incredible upscale dining and shopping options are nearby, and some of the best dance clubs in Miami are just a short Uber ride away.

Residents enjoy waterfront living with access to the newly designed parks that border Biscayne Bay. Edgewater is only a few blocks from the Arts and Entertainment District, and getting to a Miami Heat basketball game at FTX Arena is easily accessible.

Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

Dispersed among Edgewater's residential condominiums are parks, designer boutiques, and high-end restaurants. Across the Venetian Causeway, shoppers can enjoy the Lincoln Road Mall, a bustling promenade that offers a broad range of art galleries, sidewalk cafes, bars, chic boutiques, and upscale eateries.

The
Amara at Paraiso is new to the area, offering bold Latin American flavors in a chic dining room with an idyllic outdoor patio overlooking Biscayne Bay to create the quintessential Miami waterfront restaurant. The posh Seaspice Brasserie & Lounge also offers magnificent outdoor dining, servicing globally influenced seafood dishes.

The
Casablanca on the Bay touts itself as a sophisticated seafood specialist, serving exquisite meals in an enclosed dining area that overlooks the Bay. BOHO House Miami is a local's favorite hotspot, offering Bohemian cuisine in a kitschy, eclectic courtyard.

Things to Do

The recently developed Paraiso Park bayfront project features a palm tree-lined 10-mile waterfront promenade that connects Edgewater to downtown, offering incredible views of Biscayne Bay. The park also has three outdoor Kompan Fitness Zone machines, a massive children's playground, a fenced-in dog park, and several public art displays. The Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel also offers fantastic views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline inside climate-controlled glass-enclosed gondolas.

At
Margaret Pace Park, visitors can enjoy tennis and basketball courts, a large playground, an expansive lawn, and public art. There is also a shaded paved pathway running along North Bayshore Drive, and hidden behind the condo towers is Sea Isle Marina, Edgewater's only marina and best-kept secret.

The Institute of Contemporary Art features sculptures, paintings, and multi-media installations in an ultramodern venue. At the Miami Children's Museum, kids can explore hands-on exhibits in the newly renovated $25 million complex, which includes a music studio and a replica of a cruise ship. The annual YoungArts Week held at the YoungArts Foundation complex, formerly the Bacardi Rum headquarters, provides children the opportunity to express themselves through modern art. The complex features a welcoming public plaza with floating modernist sculptures, stained glass, and stunning tile murals.
